Bill-to-bill adjustment
Settle open bills against payments, receipts and returns so outstanding reports show exactly which bills are unpaid.
A receipt tells BizDue a customer paid; a bill-to-bill adjustment says which bills the money was for.
- Open Customer Bill-to-Bill (or Supplier Bill-to-Bill).
- Choose the party. Their open bills and their unadjusted receipts, payments or returns are listed.
- Enter how much of each credit goes against each bill. Partial, full and multi-bill adjustments are all supported.
- Save.
The Outstanding reports then show open bills after adjustments, aged by due date, and interest reports charge only for the days each part was really unpaid.
