Creating a loan lead
Add an enquiry in two short steps: loan type and contact first, details next. Duplicate and eligibility checks happen as you go.
A lead is an enquiry from someone who may want a loan. Capture it as soon as the call or walk-in happens, even if you have only a name and a mobile number.
Step 1: loan type and contact
- Open Leads and click Add Lead.
- Choose the loan type and enter the customer's name and mobile number.
- BizDue checks the mobile, alternate mobile and email against existing leads. If it finds a match, it shows the existing lead so you can open that instead of creating a duplicate.
- Answer the eligibility questions for that loan type (for example "Is the CIBIL score 700+?").
- Click Create Lead.
Note: If an answer fails a rule (for example salary paid in cash), BizDue marks the lead as failing eligibility. You can Reject Lead straight away, or keep it and use Qualify anyway later if your manager agrees.
Step 2: customer details
After the lead is created you continue to the details form: identity, work and income, existing EMIs, property and references. Fill in what you know. You can skip and come back later from the lead page with Go to the form.
Lead numbers and sources
- Each lead gets a number such as LD-0001. The prefix can be changed by an admin in Loan Settings.
- Pick the Source (Walk-in, Referral, Website, WhatsApp, DSA / Connector, and so on). Reports use it to show which channels bring in business.
