Record a return

  1. Open Purchase Return or Sales Return and click New.
  2. Choose the party and, if possible, the original bill.
  3. Enter the items and quantities going back.
  4. Save. Stock and the party's balance update straight away.

Tip: Use Bill-to-Bill Adjustment afterwards to set the return against a specific bill, so the party's outstanding report stays clean.
