  1. Create a request
  2. Track and review
  3. Stop a request

A document request saves you chasing customers for files on WhatsApp. The customer gets a link, sees the list of documents you asked for, and uploads them from their phone. No sign-in needed.

Create a request

  1. Open Document Requests and click New Request.
  2. Choose the customer.
  3. Tick the documents you need. Add anything else under Other Documents.
  4. Set Link Expires: the customer can no longer open the upload page after this date.
  5. Optionally add a Note to Customer, for example "Please upload clear colour scans".
  6. Click Create Request & Generate Link, then send the Upload Link to the customer.

Track and review

  1. Open the request to see the upload progress for each document.
  2. Each document shows Awaiting upload or Uploaded. Review each uploaded file and approve it or click Reject.
  3. When you reject a file, say why. The customer can upload it again from the same link.

Approved documents are filed in the Document Center under that customer.

Stop a request

Click Revoke Link on the request. The link stops working immediately, even before its expiry date.
