Working with the document checklist
Upload, verify, reject or mark documents not applicable, per person on the file, and request missing ones from the customer.
On this page
Every application has its own checklist. BizDue builds it from the loan type, the people on the file (applicant, co-applicants, guarantors) and their answers: employment, business entity, purpose, balance transfer or top-up, property and bank.
Add the people on the file
- Open the application and go to Documents.
- Under People on this file, click Add person for each co-applicant or guarantor.
- Answer their questions. Their documents are added to the checklist automatically.
Upload and review documents
- Find the document row and click Upload. You can add more than one file.
- Someone with review permission opens it and clicks Approve, or rejects it with a reason.
- A rejected document shows the reason; click Upload again to replace it.
| Action | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Mark not applicable | The document doesn't apply to this customer. It stops counting as missing. |
| Restore / Needed after all | You marked it by mistake. |
| Replace | A better copy arrived. The old file is kept in the history. |
Ask the customer for missing documents
- Tick the missing documents.
- Click Request selected from customer.
- Choose how many days the link stays valid and add a note.
The customer gets an upload link. Files they upload land in the right checklist rows for you to review.
When everything is in
When Everything required is in, the Next Action card offers to submit the file.
Tip: If the answers changed (for example the customer turned out to be self-employed), use Rebuild from loan type rules so the checklist matches the new answers.
