Raising and answering queries on a file
Ask for a document or clarification on a file, answer the queries assigned to you, and resolve them.
On this page
A query is a question raised on a file: usually the bank asking for one more document or an explanation. Queries keep the conversation on the file instead of in phone calls.
Raise a query
- Open the application and click Raise Query.
- Describe the Document or information needed and, if it applies, the person it is about.
- Choose who should answer and set a Due date.
- Save. The assignee is notified.
Answer a query
- Open Queries. The Needs my action tab lists what is waiting on you.
- Open the query, write Your response and attach documents if asked.
- Click Send Response. The query shows Responded.
Finish a query
The person who raised it reviews the answer and clicks Resolve, or Close query if it is no longer needed.
